This Sunday we hear the words of God’s covenant spoken to Abraham and Jesus’ words to Nicodemus, “You must be born of water and the spirit.” Through Holy Baptism God promises to raise us up with Christ to new life.
Each Wednesday throughout the Lenten season, a meal will be served (6pm) with a prayer service (7pm) following. A meditation will be shared about one of the Old Testament Prophets, corresponding with the congregation’s Book of Faith Read Through the Bible. On Wednesday, March 16, we will focus on the prophet Isaiah.
A special presentation of the Newberry College Choir (6pm meal; 7pm Choral Performance) will take place March 23. This will the first stop and beginning of the choir’s Spring Tour.
The Links With Mission Golf Tournament that is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, at the Timberlake Country Club. Player/Team registrations and sponsorships are available in the church office. Lutheridge Summer Day Camp is scheduled for July 11-15. Preschool through fifth grade may register. Contact the church office for info.
Join as we read through the Old Testament of the Bible (Jan.3-May 20) and participating in Bible Discussion Groups. More information is provided on the website (www.mthoreb.net) and at the Book of Faith Informational Table in the Fellowship Hall.
