The King shall come when morning dawns and light triumphant breaks, when beauty gilds the eastern hills and life to joy awakes.
One worship service will be held at 10am this Sunday morning, Nov.21, for Christ the King Sunday. Mt. Horeb’s Children’s Choir will sing. The Rite of Holy Baptism will be conducted for Ava Grace Williams. The congregation’s Annual Congregational Meeting will be held afterwards with a lunch following.
Mt. Horeb Youth will meet this Sunday, 5:45pm, for a special Youth Thanksgiving Feast, with music, picture show, and devotional message. The Community Thanksgiving Service will take place Sunday, Nov. 21, 6pm, at Chapin Presbyterian Church. Mt. Horeb will host a Thanksgiving Holy Communion Service Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 7pm.
Smoked ham and turkeys for the holidays will once again be available. Tickets can be purchased at the church office to support Global Missions. Deadline for Thanksgiving is Nov. 21. Pick up date is Wednesday, Nov. 24, 4-6pm.
